Like Hide & Seek? Bluff Park Rocks is for you!
Paint A Rock, Hide A Rock, Find A Rock. Repeat.
Individuals or families can paint rocks and hide them anywhere in Bluff Park. When someone finds one, they post a picture in the Bluff Park Rocks group and then they can re-hide or take it home as a treasure. Bluffparlal talked to Lauren Wade, the organizer of the Facebook Group “Bluff Park Rocks.”
“ I saw friends sharing rocks they found in the Homewood Rocks group and thought our neighborhood would have a lot of fun with it,” Lauren says. We want people to have fun! It’s a great way for the neighborhood to come together. Families can spend time painting, hiding and hunting. It’s fun to go on walks in the neighborhood or keep eyes open when shopping at local businesses to find one,” she continues.
*The organizers do ask that people be smart in their hiding and not impede walking or the city’s ability to do lawn care.

You can use acrylic, spray paint, sharpie or paint pens. Spray all of them with a sealant on top so they can stand the elements! Here are a few examples of treasures found so far.
